Quest is a get-a-way retreat in the north woods of Wisconsin that will provide spiritual enrichment, and at the same time fellowship and recreation, in a controlled Christian environment. Wether a peaceful retreat suits you, or tubing on the white water falls of Robinson Creek, or competing on the ball fields, or hiking through beautiful forest trails, or so much more, this session could be for you.
Quest is three full days and two partial days of relaxation, fun and spiritual enlightenment. There will be programs for everyone and we will try to custom design them to meet the desires of our campers.
The cost is very low and many will be called on to help with programs, classes and some kitchen duty. Meals will be provided from Tuesday evening dinner, through breakfast Saturday morning.
"The Transforming Life: Experiencing God in Spiritual Disciplines."
Rich Little will be our speaker again this year. Rich will help us develop spiritual disciplines. “The nature and role of disciplines within the believer's life has never been more needed. Fasting, prayer, worship, service, and solitude are some of the disciplines we’ll explore as we seek to discover God in the untapped corners of our spiritual lives.”
$65 per person - 5 and under free - $200 max per family
There are some positions that will waive your camper fee:
kitchen salad person; kitchen cook (menus are all planned); pot scrubber; licensed nurse; certified swim life guard.
If you choose this option you will have time to participate in activities and recreation.
Who might enjoy attending Quest? Former campers now too old to attend regular camp. Families, young and old. Singles, come alone or get together a group. Seniors, come alone or get together a group. Youth groups.
Campers 17 years old and under must have an adult sponsor attending the session. Could be: parent, a friend, someone from your congregation, youth minister, etc. (having a problem finding a sponsor? call the director, Jim Frost).
Where do I sleep? We have several cabins and some lodge rooms. We will try to accommodate families and groups with their own cabins as space permits. All cabin and room assignments will be considered on a first-registered-first-served basis.
If you have an RV we have several spaces with electrical hook-ups and many great tent sites.
