Property donated to camp
The church at Baraboo, Wisconsin disbanded a while ago and the property, including about a half acre lot and the building has been donated to Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp. The board of directors is trying to liquidate the property which can provide much needed funds to our camp.  The property is listed at $95,000., it is very near the Wisconsin Dells and even closer to Devils Lake state park. Looking for potenial
session directors
The WCYC board is looking for new talent.  They would like to create a pool of qualified session directors.   Please consider this important service and send in an application form.
Annual Meeting highlights:  6 positions on the board were up for election this year, 5 expiring 3 year terms, and a 2 year term to fill Justin Mooney's seat since he moved out of state.   Daryl Miller, Roger Dunnam, Gary Byram, Dana Crohn, and Guy Marshall were re-elected to 3 year terms and new board member, Cliff Cunningham was elected for the 2 year term.
Vote on the by-law change: The By-law change proposed removing the word “male” from the requirements for being a member of the board of directors. Requirement for by-law change requires three quarters majority.  The vote failed and by-laws remain as originally worded.
Session directors for 2012: Quest - Jim Frost;  Middle - Tim Thompson;  Intermediate - Jim Coehoorn;  Senior - Jeff Hill;  Junior - Guy Marshall.
